Before starting a three-point turn, how large a gap in traffic should you wait for?

- B 60 to 90 seconds
- C 5 to 10 seconds
- D 3 to 4 seconds
Show answer
A. 20 to 30 seconds
Three-point turns take time, since you block the road while turning. Position near the right curb, signal left, check both ways and wait for a 20 to 30 second gap. Use this turn only on narrow streets with light traffic and good visibility.
