Without an account
You don’t need an account to use Driving Test Pal. Your answers, scores, saved questions, study plan, flashcard reviews and driving log are stored in your own browser (local storage). They are not sent to us. Clearing your browser data, or using “Erase my progress” on the My progress page, deletes them.
Test dates and “Did you pass?”
- Test dates: the knowledge-test and road-test dates you set are kept in your browser and, if you’re signed in, on your account, so we can ask how it went.
- “Did you pass?”: your answer stays in your browser, where it opens the next step (such as your retake countdown). We don’t receive it.
We never sell or share learner data
We don’t sell or share anyone’s data, including learners’ practice data, with advertisers or data brokers, and we don’t put advertising trackers on the site. Data goes only to the services that run the site for us (hosting, database, email and payments), to do that job.
Site analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages help people most, for example how many people finish a practice test. It sets cookies and records things like the pages you view, your device type and your approximate region. We turned off Google signals and ad personalization, and we don’t send it your answers, your name or your email. You can block it with any content blocker, or opt out with Google’s browser add-on; the site works the same either way.
AI Study Coach
The coach is switched off for now. When it’s on, questions you send to it are sent to our AI provider to generate the answer. Don’t include personal information in them.
