    A. You do not need to stop, but proceed carefully

RSA 265:54 says drivers on a divided highway with separate roadways need not stop for a school bus on the other half of the highway. The roadways do not need a raised barrier between them: under RSA 265:26 an intervening space such as a grass median also divides them. Traffic behind the bus must still stop, and you should watch for children.
