Louisiana OMV Exam Simulator

A full-length mock exam built to Louisiana's real rules: 40 questions, 32 correct to pass (80%). New questions every attempt.

How this simulator works

  • Knowledge test: 40 questions, 32 correct to pass.
  • No time limit, like the real test. Take your time.
  • You won’t see whether you were right until the end, just like at the Louisiana test. Then you can review every answer with its explanation.
  • Questions are drawn fresh from the full Louisiana bank each time.

How the real Louisiana knowledge test works

The Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles (Department of Public Safety and Corrections) test is 40 questions, 32 correct to pass (80%). This simulator follows the same structure, gives no feedback until you finish, and draws a new set of questions from the full Louisiana bank every time.

Aim to pass the simulator two or three times in a row, on different days, before you book your test.

Sample questions from this test

  1. You move to a new home in Louisiana. How soon must you correct the address on your driver's license?

    • A Within 10 days
    • B At your next renewal
    • C Within 60 days
    • D Within 30 days
    Show answer

    A. Within 10 days

Louisiana law requires you to update the address on your license within 10 days after moving. The same 10-day rule applies to your vehicle registration, and failing to update can earn you a ticket.
