How old must you be to get a learner’s permit in Oklahoma?
15 years
15 if enrolled in and receiving instruction in an approved driver education course (including parent-taught); 16 without driver education. Motorcycle permit available at 14.

What must you do after a crash in Oklahoma?
If anyone is hurt or killed, immediately notify the local police, the county sheriff or the Highway Patrol.
You must also send a written report to the Department of Public Safety if the crash caused injury, death or more than $300 in damage and it has not been settled within six months (the threshold rises to $3,000 on November 1, 2026).

Where must you stop at a stop sign when there is no marked crosswalk?
Before the crosswalk area, even though it isn't marked
At a stop sign you must come to a complete stop before the pedestrian crosswalk, even if it isn't marked, and stay stopped until the way is clear in all directions.

What does a flashing red traffic light mean?
Stop, then go when it is safe, as at a stop sign
A flashing red light means the same as a stop sign: stop completely, then go when it is safe to cross.

How far before a turn does the Oklahoma manual say you should signal?
At least 100 feet or 1/3 of a block
Oklahoma law makes it illegal to turn without signaling, and you should signal at least 100 feet or 1/3 of a block before you turn, slow down or stop.

What does this sign mean?
Stop
Come to a complete stop at the stop line (or before the crosswalk or intersection), then go only when it is safe and you have yielded to traffic and pedestrians.

How to study with flashcards
- Answer before you flip. Say the answer out loud or in your head. Recalling it yourself is what makes it stick; recognizing it among four options is easier than the real test.
- Grade yourself honestly. Swipe right (or press “Got it”) only if you had the answer, not if it looked familiar. Swipe left for “Again”.
- Review your misses straight away. At the end of a round you can go through just the cards you missed.
- Come back over several days. Short sessions spread out beat one long night.
- Finish with a real-format test. When most cards are known, take the Oklahoma exam simulator to practice under test conditions.

Where do the answers come from?
Practice cards come from questions written from the Oklahoma Driver Manual, and each answer names the handbook page. Rule cards come from Oklahoma’s statutes and SOK pages, checked and quoted on our traffic-laws page. Road-sign cards follow the federal MUTCD, which every state uses.
Do the flashcards work on a phone?
Yes. They open full screen, you tap a card to flip it and swipe right if you knew it, left to see it again, or up to skip. Turn your phone sideways for a wider card. There are buttons for every action, and on a computer you can use the keyboard.
Are these the real test questions?
No. States keep their test questions confidential, and no practice site has them. These cards cover the same rules the real Oklahoma test is based on, with a source for every answer.
