Sample parking & stopping questions

  1. When you parallel park along a curb in South Carolina, what is the farthest your vehicle may be from the curb?

    • A 18 inches
    • B 36 inches
    • C 24 inches
    • D 12 inches
    Show answer

    A. 18 inches

When parking along the roadway, keep your vehicle as far from traffic as possible and no more than 18 inches from the curb or edge of pavement. Parking too far out narrows the lane for others.
