Tennessee TDOSHS Exam Simulator

A full-length mock exam built to Tennessee's real rules: 30 questions, 24 correct to pass (80%), 60-minute limit. New questions every attempt.

How this simulator works

  • Knowledge test: 30 questions, 24 correct to pass.
  • 60-minute time limit, like the real test.
  • You won’t see whether you were right until the end, just like at the Tennessee test. Then you can review every answer with its explanation.
  • Questions are drawn fresh from the full Tennessee bank each time.

How the real Tennessee knowledge test works

The Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security, Driver Services Division test is 30 questions, 24 correct to pass (80%), 60-minute limit. This simulator follows the same structure, gives no feedback until you finish, and draws a new set of questions from the full Tennessee bank every time.

Aim to pass the simulator two or three times in a row, on different days, before you book your test.

    A. Holding a phone with any part of your body

Tennessee's 2019 hands-free law makes it illegal to hold a phone with any part of your body, to write, send or read texts, to reach for a phone in a way that takes you out of your seat belt, or to watch or record video. Set things up before you drive. Drivers with a learner permit or intermediate license face a stricter rule: no cell phone use at all while driving.
