  3. When may you turn left on a steady red light in Nebraska?

    • A After stopping, from one one-way street onto another
    • B After stopping, from any street, if no signs prohibit it
    • C Never; left turns on red are always illegal
    • D After stopping, from a two-way street onto a one-way street
    Show answer

  4. You are driving under a lane-use signal that changes to a steady yellow X. What does it mean?

    • A You may use the lane only to turn left
    • B You may keep driving in the lane
    • C Stop at once in the lane and wait
    • D Move out of the lane as soon as it is safe
    Show answer

    D. Move out of the lane as soon as it is safe

A steady yellow X over a reversible lane means a red X will soon appear, so move out of that lane as soon as you safely can. Never drive in a lane under a red X.
