    Show answer

    A. Riders of motorcycles, three-wheelers, motor-driven cycles and mopeds

  2. You need to swerve around an obstacle and also slow down. When should you brake?

    • A Only during the swerve, using the rear brake
    • B Never; braking should be avoided entirely
    • C During the swerve, to slow as early as possible
    • D Before or after the swerve, never during it
    Show answer

    D. Before or after the swerve, never during it

  3. There are vehicles on both sides of you. Which lane position is usually your best option?

    • A Right on the lane line between the two vehicles
    • B The center of the lane, path 2
    • C The left third of the lane, path 1
    • D The right third of the lane, path 3
    Show answer

    B. The center of the lane, path 2

When vehicles are on both sides of you, the center of the lane, path 2, is usually your best option because it gives you the most space on each side. Move toward path 2 or 3 when hazards are only on your left, and path 1 or 2 when they are only on your right.
