You want to turn left at normal speed. How do you make the motorcycle lean left?
- A Press forward on the left handgrip
- B Press forward on the right handgrip
- C Turn the handlebars to the left and hold them there
- D Shift your weight to the left footrest only
Show answer
A. Press forward on the left handgrip
To turn, a motorcycle must lean, and you lean it by pressing the handgrip on the side of the turn: press left, lean left, go left. This is called countersteering. The higher the speed, the more lean the turn needs.
