    A. From a half hour after sunset until a half hour before sunrise

  3. You are using high beams on a rural highway and see an oncoming car. How far away should you dim to low beams?

    • A At least 200 feet
    • B At least 300 feet
    • C At least 500 feet
    • D At least 1,000 feet
    Show answer

    • C 500 feet
    • D 1,000 feet
    Show answer

    A. 300 feet

When you are within 300 feet of the rear of a vehicle you are approaching, dim to low beams. High beams reflect off the other driver's mirrors and can blind them.
