    A. From a one-way street onto a one-way street, after stopping and yielding

After stopping and yielding, you may turn left on red from a one-way street onto another one-way street. That turn does not cross oncoming traffic, which is why it is allowed like a right on red.

  3. At minimum, how far before an intersection must you signal a turn in Wyoming?

    • A At least 100 feet
    • B At least 50 feet
    • C At least 200 feet
    • D At least 500 feet
    Show answer

    A. At least 100 feet

You must signal at least 100 feet before an intersection, and signalling 4 to 5 seconds ahead is better at higher speeds. Early signals give drivers behind you time to slow down.

  4. How do you give a hand signal for a right turn?

    • A Left arm straight out, pointing to the left
    • B Left arm out, pointing down from the elbow
    • C Left arm out with the hand and arm pointing straight up from the elbow
    • D Right arm out the passenger window, pointing right
    Show answer

    C. Left arm out with the hand and arm pointing straight up from the elbow

Hand signals are given with your left arm. For a right turn the arm points up from the elbow, for a left turn it goes straight out, and to slow or stop it points down. Drivers behind you can see your left arm out the window.
